Dr. Yehia Elebrashi is nearly an Arizona native, originally born in Los Angeles,
California but moved to Phoenix with his family during early childhood. He attended
Deer Valley High school and moved on to gain his undergraduate degree in Genetics
and Cell Developmental Biology at Arizona State University. During his
undergraduate years, Dr. Elebrashi gained his first patient care experience at
Scottsdale Healthcare as a patient transporter and then later as a chemistry laboratory
assistant. He utilized this opportunity to collaborate with many physicians/surgeons
and attain shadowing experiences in his spare time. It was during this time that he
gained a profound interest in patient care and surgery. He also participated in a variety
of volunteer community-outreach and charity programs.
Dr. Elebrashi continued on to complete his Podiatri
c medical degree at Midwestern
University. He successfully completed a rigorous 3-year residency training at
Maricopa Medical center in Phoenix, a level 1 trauma and burn center, consisting of a
1-year General Surgery/Trauma/Burn internship followed by a focused 2-year
Podiatric/Orthopedic surgical inpatient service and high-volume community health
clinic. His residency training also provided him with extensive experience in the
private office and outpatient surgery setting, while training under the guidance of
highly-skilled and respected practitioners around the valley. He gained a vast
experience treating a host of simple and complex pathologies.
He has successfully completed the HonorHealth-Oasis Foot and Ankle Surgical
fellowship training in 2020 with focus on trauma, advanced forefoot and rearfoot
surgery, elective reconstruction, revisional surgery, minimally invasive surgery and
limb salvage.

Following fellowship completion, Dr. Elebrashi has founded the Vitality Foot and
Ankle Institute in Peoria. He has a drive to continuously explore the advances in
medical technology and surgical technique in order to provide his patients with the
most effective and up-to-date therapies. He is well prepared to address any
pathologies of the lower limb in patients of all ages. He has a strong interest in
complex cases including trauma, reconstructive/minimally-invasive surgery,
regenerative medicine, sports medicine and limb salvage. He continues to expand and
refine his clinical and surgical knowledge through participation in a multitude of
training courses both locally and internationally.

Dr. Elebrashi is proud to be a first generation American surgeon of Egyptian heritage.
He values his dual culture as means to effortlessly engage with people of diverse
cultures and backgrounds. He is fluent in Arabic and continues to expand his Spanish
dialogue. He has a love for nature, art, music, travel, wildlife and sports. His friendly
orange cat Richard Parker always keeps it interesting. When he is not treating

patients, he can usually be found hanging out with family and friends, exploring the
Arizona outdoors or admiring your local art gallery. Dr. Elebrashi is also committed
to teaching fellows/residents/students and leading underserved community-outreach
efforts.
